We employ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on all of our projects to ensure there is local engagement.
Our aims are:

- Anticipating client needs and providing quality products and superior service;
- Supporting the communities in which we operate;
- Acting with integrity and honesty in all of our dealings.
Yungatha has proudly been serving clients through the supply of Main Roads certified signage for over 10 years. With all products made locally right in here in WA, we are looking forward to building on existing relationships for the next chapter under the new ownership of Yungatha – WA’s only majority owned and operated Indigenous Signage Company!
Our Name
“YUNGATHA” is a Wajarri/Yamatji word meaning Family. It is pronounced slightly differently to how it is spelt, when spoken it sounds more like “oongadda” if said quickly.
In our culture, everyone is part of a great extended family. You are always someone’s “Uncle, Aunt, cousin, sister or brother”, no matter how distant.
Our Logo
First Nations People have always known the importance Family has to our culture, to the strength of our community, and to the safety and well-being of our children and future generations.
Our Logo is an acknowledgement of the past but also symbolises a pathway for the future, which is our focus.
Our Purpose
By means of our signage and safety products, our purpose is to keep all families safe as they navigate the roads and pathways originally forged by the First Nations people and traditional custodians of this land, to whom we pay our respects and acknowledge their ongoing connection to the lands on which we operate.
